Open to aspiring filmmakers and established videographers, the Viral Film Project is an on-going series of contests, each having a unique subject. Competitors are kept in the dark about the full details until the entry deadline has passed. Then the topic and criteria are announced, and entrants have two weeks to finish their videos and generate as much exposure as they can for it.
All entries will be judged by a panel of industry experts, and contest winners will be rewarded with critical recognition, the opportunity to work with major clients and – oh, yeah – $5,000.

The subject of the competition varies depending on the sponsors expectations. Whether the product may be an exciting new proximity-based mobile app that is changing the way people interact within their community and the world, a new restaurant chain looking to make an impact on a tough market or even a well-known brand looking to diversify it’s clientele.
